VICTORY ARCH
WITH RELIEFS OF HERCULES
This victory arch with reliefs of Hercules is
located at the junction of the Street of the
Curettes with secondary streets. The monument
was constructed towards the end of the 4th
century, but no other parts of it have been
found. If the structure to be completed; it
would appear to resemble the Arch of
Constantine in Rome. The reliefs of Hercules
were originally made in the 2nd century, and
were brought here towards the end of the 4th
century from another structure.
